I had a lovely stay here! The staff was super friendly and made breakfast a highlight with plenty of tasty options to fuel our days. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town center, and there's great bus service for exploring the area. I also appreciated having a fridge in the room, which was perfect for keeping drinks cool.

Had very good stay during our visit with accommodating staff and prime location near bus stop. Location: the hotel was just next door to bus/train stations, the shops.
Facilities were good, though Wi-Fi was very poor.

I got great value for my money, and my room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable-definitely a good place to relax.
Menu for breakfast could include a dedicated vegan option.

Room 3 was spacious with a lovely four-poster bed and plenty of teas and coffees. The mini fridge was a great addition for convenience. I loved that it's an adult-only guest house. And a contact-free check-in process was super easy.

I didn't get a good night's sleep because the traffic noise from the main road kept me awake, even with the window shut. Plus, the blinds really didn't block out the light well, so car headlights were flashing right in!

The bed was very comfy and the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic getaway. Loved the hot breakfast especially the eggs benedict, it was a good treat after a long day out.

I had always wanted to visit the Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats, and the Cottage was an ideal choice in terms of location. I was pleasantly surprised by the early check-in option, which gave me extra time to explore. The evening meals at nearby pubs were fantastic, with a great emphasis on quality and local ingredients, making each dining experience nice.
Limited vegan breakfast options.

Had a great 2-night stay with friends! We loved the short walk to the lake and really good breakfast options. Highlights were the room's cleanliness and the friendly service. Enjoyed visiting the local shops and hopping on the open-top bus for a scenic ride. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!
One night was noisy with other guests, disrupting our sleep, a bit disappointing.

The highlight was the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast, especially the chocolate muffins. Unfortunately, the small room was quite hot, even with a fan provided. The cleanliness left something to be desired, particularly in the bathroom with a musty odor. Breakfast was also disappointing as the food arrived lukewarm, detracting from an otherwise pleasant morning experience.

Friendly staff and clean room, but Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby.

Windermere is a foodie's paradise! The Hungry Goat Café whipped up the most scrumptious brunches I've ever had, and I can't stop raving about the cozy charm of The Queens Pub just a hop away, perfect for a cheeky pint after exploring. Plus, my room was a good hideaway with fab bathroom amenities!
Now, I did have a bit of a chatterbox situation with noisy neighbors. It reminded me of their gossip was pouring through the walls! And with a tight squeeze in the room, I had to juggle my suitcase like it was a game of Tetris. Still, it didn't put a dampener on my stay!

We loved the charming style of the cottage and the lovely decor. The high point was definitely the bidet in our twin room, a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options, and the staff was super friendly. Plus, it was just a nice walk to the lake.
